Yes, once a contract is signed and a deposit is received, you will gain access to a client portal where you will be guided through on collecting information needed to create your website. Some of this information you will need to provide is:

• Legal Page Content

• Web CopyThis information will need to be collected before the project start date - all which will be outlined in your client portal.

All our client websites are created on Squarespace, and they make it easy to build a new website without affecting your live website.
If your domain is through a third-party provider other than Squarespace, we will transfer it over and your new site will be live once that process is complete. This will vary depending on your domain situation.

Yes, the quote you will receive is just for working with Third Floor Productions to design and setup everything. You will be responsible for additional yearly costs to maintain:

HOSTING: You can view current Squarespace hosting subscriptions on the Squarespace pricing page to get an overview of what that cost will look like to keep your website live.
Don’t forget, by working with us, you also receive a 20% discount on your first year subscription (if you pay annually).
DOMAINS: Domains are fairly inexpensive (~$20/year) if you purchase and pay for them through Squarespace.
PRIVACY POLICY: We partner with a third party service to create a legally binding policy (because we’re not lawyers), and there is an on-going annual cost to keep your policy up to date automatically as new laws are always being created.
And yes, your website legally requires a privacy policy if it collects any information from users - IP address for analytics, personal information on a contact form like name or email, etc.

During your off-boarding process, you will hop on a call to go over all you need to know to update and edit your new website!
This includes things like updating copy, how editing works, adding or deleting content, and anything else you might need to know.

A contract will be sent to you to be signed and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required in order to hold your project start date slot. You'll then pay the other half when the project is finished.
